DTW: massive GL/Account "ValidTo" field update

Dear all,

I need to update the ValidTo date of several GL Accounts in SAP B1 8.82.

I cannot find a DTW template to update this field (of OACT table).

What do you suggest to do? Do you know a method to update this field massively?

Hi Emanuele,

This cannot be done with the DTW. Theoretically it is possible to build a small application using the SDK, that could do it, but you would probably have to contact your SAP Partner, to build it for you.

So the question is, how many accounts do you need to update, and will you have to do it more than once ? In other words, is it worth the investment ?

You could (also) post an idea on the SAP Business One Idea Place about adding a template to the DTW for the account details fields. Perhaps there are other people who have similar requirements.
