Crystal Server 2011 on SQL Server 2012 compatibility

Hi,

Does anyone knows if Crystal Server 2011 (BOE4.0 SP2) is compatible with MS SQL Server 2012.

If yes, is there any updates(patches etc) required on both application? or any related documents to read on before the installation?

Hi Erwin,

Page 12 of this PAM guide for BI 4.0 SP2 suggests that SQL Server 2012 is Not supported:

SP05 supports SQL Server 2012 though:

In relation to my issue, currently i have a Crystal Server 2011(BOE SP2) and I want to install it on MS SQL 2012. How can I do that? What is the sequence of installation do I have to do?

Do you mean install CR Server 2011 on the same server that holds SQL Server 2012?

Unless you want the CMS database to be based off of the existing SQL Server instance, I don't think the installation sequence would matter as they're two separate products.
