Hi Balaji,

Try this...

tcode :- n

table :- pa0001

&Sap_edit (If EHP is 0 then it will directly allow you to delete..

else.. you can make it editable... take the help of abaper.. for {EHP >0.})

Select row & delete it...

Yes.. I know for auditing purpose .. it is not recommended.....

But if it is needed (as last option)...Then you can ... but you need to justify when it comes to auditing,,

Hi Balaji,

Can you please check the following note.

Hi Raj,

in the note it is asking to delete the pay results if results are not posted to FI. otherwise don't delete the pay results. In this case if we implement this note error will solve ?

but here balaji issue is, to delete the old record that means so many payroll periods are done. in this case error will solve ?

It won't work.

If it is the current record,  we can reverse the payroll, and can delete the record from 01 Infotype.

Hi Balaji,

We can delete the IT 0001 record. But can you explain a bit what is the exact scenario.

go to pa30 select the IT 0001 click on delete button and then go to next record (shift + F7) and then click on delete button. before that check the payroll area in correction mode.

Old and New records are having different Payroll Areas, system will not allow you to save the record.

if you tell the req. we will try other options.

Go to PU03 and remove Accounted to date then try to delete the Organizational assignment it allows you to delete the record before doing this check what is the purpose of deleting record and consistency between payroll areas.

Hi Praneeth,

Customer is not using Payroll process for SAP , they are using some other software for maintaining payroll. if we use PU03 for deleting purpose will it make difference. Kindly help

Hi Balaji,

If payroll is not using then go to pu01 and delete the payresult for the november month and delete the record in IT 0001 and then again re-run the payroll for November month.

Put PU03 fields empty after nov,2014 payroll live run dates will default automatically.

Hi

Have you tried to edit the previous record and set endda = 31.12.999 for that record?

As Kristen mentioned, instead of deleting, overwrite the unwanted record by extending the end date of the previous record.

Hi Balaji,

What steps are you following to delete the data?

Go to PA30 -> IT0001 - > Overview - > Select the record and click on delete button.

If you are still facing the issue attach the steps and error faced by you.

Hi Hari ,

I am not able to delete it, Is it standard way to delete the organisation assignment infotype?

Or any other option can be used ?
