Legal Dunning procedure

Hello All,

1.)Can any one help with what exactly is the legal dunning procedure and where do we activate that in our dunning procedure.

2.)What is the use of legal dunning procedure field in customer master

Hi,

Legal dunning procedure run when we are going to take any legal action against the customer, then we issue legal dunning procedure. You have to initiate the legal dunning date in the customer master, this means that the account is involved in a legal dunning procedure.

If a legal dunning procedure has been entered in the customer/vendor master record, a further dunning notice is usually only sent when further account movements have occurred. If you wish to send a dunning notice although no further account movements have occurred, select this indicator in FBMP.

Could you please let me know inorder to do the legal dunning proceduer for a customer .

Do we have to mention only the date of legal dunning in cutomer master or we have to activate the legal dunning flag in FBMA t-code for the dunning procedure of the cutsomer.

Hi,

You have to maintain date in customer master. And also if you want to send further legal dunning notices, if there is no accounts movement for the customer, then you can select the check box in FBMP. If you do not require it, then you do not need select the box in FBMP.

Yes, legal dunning procedure is addition to the normal dunning level which we have maintained for the dunning procedure.
