Exclude Members - Lower Hierarchy Members

Hi,

If I have a reports which has in the rows ACCOUNT A (member only - no children) and it is based on the hiearchy as follows

ACCOUNT A

     ACCOUNT AB    

     ACCOUNT AC

     ACCOUNT AD

If I try and exclude Member ACCOUNT AD via Edit Report / Exclude members it does not exclude ACCOUNT AD. Does Exclude Members only exclude visible members?

Yes, only visible!

It's not possible to exclude some children from parent

But if the children are visible and you select the option - "Calculate Parents in Hierarchies" then exclude will affect the parent, because it's calculated as Excel sum of visible children

Same story with access rights:

If user has rights to access the parent and no rights to access some children - then the user will have the parent value as a sum of all children
