Hi,
We are getting the error "Not possible to post depreciation type Revaluation ord.dep. in derived dep. area" when running AFAB for particular assets.
Could you please guide on what could be the reason for error.

Have you assigned revaluations GL in AO90 for the account determination?

In additional with Sudhakar*, also check OADB. There you can define what kind of posts for each depreciation area.

Both the settings are already in place still the same error.
Check transaction OAYR to see if the Post Revaluation is set to ->YES
