Hi Friends,
I am working on multiple projects and the inputs which is generated is PRT ( NX format) While importing the file ,in the scene tree information of imported data will be not visible .and if some time it appear it will be in solid objects.
I have previously requested this issue when I was using SAP -VE (ver 7.0) but currently I am using ver 8.0 ,still the issue is there ,the main objective
for upgrading to 8.0 was the newer version will provide this feature of importing entire structure of PRT file in scene tree in SAP-VE.
- I have done lot of research on your import setting by changing the value ,still there is no success achieved.
Could you please let me know when SAP - VE development team can come with a proper solution.
Thanks,
Biju
Hi Biju,
We are not aware of any issues importing NX files or assemblies. If you
are having problems please open an incident in CSS. Please reference KBA

before opening. Thanks.

Hi Malcom,
Thanks for your quick response .
But there is some issue with the link provided. Can you let me know how to access this link.
I am getting this error when i click this link.
I am sharing some of the error which i found while importing a PRT FILE.
- the PRT file has a detailed model scene tree when opened in its parent software
- The same PRT file when imported to VE don't provide a complete scene tree rather it gives a single solid object.
- Details can be found in attached picture
Thanks,
Biju

Hi Biju,
For any issues regarding the SAP Service Marketplace ( https://websmp103.sap-ag.de/~SAPIDP/002006825000000234912001E ) please contact the Customer Interaction Center. Their number for your area can be found at the bottom of the opening page. They can help you to find the SAP Notes.

Hi Biju,
not sure why the colleague provided an SAP internal link initially. Anyway, he was referring to the SAP Note below:
http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1995401 (Reporting a VE CAD issue)
This note should be accessible to all customers that are eligible to SAP support and have requested access to SAP's Service Marketplace.
Hope that helps.
Ulf.
