Select Options as a part of Search Input Structure in OVS

Hi,

Can we have a select option input field or a range input field within the input structure of OVS that we set in phase 1 in OVS.

Suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi,

I don;t think this is feasible. As OVS doesn't support range option for creating the input structure. but still I will be interested to know if any option is left which I am not aware of.

AFAIK it is not possible.Need to check if SAP comes out with solution for your problem in this new year.

Thankyou all for your suggestions. Yes through freely-programmable search help it will be achieved, but my requirement was to have it into OVS which doesn't seem possible without standard enhancement.

Hi Shreyash,

It is not possible to have select options as input structure in standard OVS.

I would suggest the below two options

• Use freely programmed search help and create select options in search help component

     Please refer:Creation and Usage of Freely Programmed Search Help In Web Dynpro for ABAP

• You can enhance standard OVS component in such a way that you can have select option as input structure as per your requirement
