Hi All,
We have a requirement where we would like to maintain multiple specification during in-process inspection.i.e. we would like to maintain it in the recipe since we are using process orders. We had maintained multiple spec in inspection plan for 04 inspection type, where we maintained for object type country, and it is working fine. Can you help us how we can maintain multiple spec for 03 inspection type in recipe? We are unable to find the object or object type columns in the material assignment screen.
Thanks in advance.

Arun R
Hello Arun, Can you use inspection point concept here for 03 inspection type to distinguish the inspection readings based on country? Just a thought!

Hi Natalia,
Thanks for the information. Since it cannot be achieved in the standard, could you suggest an alternative for the requirement. We need to inspect the product during production and decide for which object(country) its feasible else we need to make the changes to production to suite the coutry specifications.
For this requirement, it would be better, if its possible to achieve multiple spec in in-process inspection.
If not could you suggest any other alternative to achieve this functionality?

Hi Arun,
I am not aware of a modification for this behavior.
But in the same link from the other reply, it says that "If you process deliveries for the above-referenced inspection lot origins (e.g inspection origin 03), the suitability of a material or batch with respect to the multiple specifications should have already been determined."
So, if you want to make a report or program I believe you can change where the multiple specification is determined, then it will be created in inspection lot creation.

Natália
