UWL - Tabs and Systems

Dear SCN,

I am trying to implement a reasonably simple feature to our UWL in the Portal:

The client has more than one System, and we want to break down the visualization in different TABS, one per System.

I have followed many posts, and all of them point to this (at a glance):

- Create new View in a given XML config file

- Create respective Navigation Node in the same file

- Setup the "supportedItemTypes" property to encompass only the desired item types, for each View.

However, this last step sounds odd, because there are many item types, and if it is to manually assign one-by-one, it is a real work overload, besides the inconsistency of having to revisit the XML file everytime a new Task ID is created in the back end.

So my question is: isn't there a more rational way of implementing this, e.g.: by filtering the items in each View by source system (SystemID), or other way? And in such a case, how to implement it?

Thanks and Regards.

Fabio
