Hi forum,

is it good a "in place convertion" from ebcdic to ascii for a 4.6C on a 550 box ?

SAP Codepage is 0120.

I would try as test in a LPAR test system. Have you go experience about convertion timing ? our db is 200 GB.

yes, InPlace is the only useful story for you.

But, from this message it doesn't sound, as you would be certified ... you know, that this is not supported from SAP ...

I would guess 2-5h export & 4-8 h import.

It depends on your CPU # and the export time highly on the size of the large cluster tables.

No, I'm not certified... I would try as test... to check DASD increase, ecc.

I think, that is not really helpful. The DASD increase is 55-65% ...
