No option to create reg info and sec info files from SMGW

Hi Experts, Good evening to all,

I am trying to create reg_info and sec_info files from smgw tcode as they are not exist at the path defined in the parameters gw/sec_info and gw/reg_info. But surprisingly I dint find the option to create. I am able to see the option to only "display". Below screen shot is for your reference.

I have also searched for standard notes but couldn't find.

Can someone please help, on why the "create" option is missed in smgw. I am sure its not due to autherization because i have tired with multiple ids who is having full access. Suspecting issue could be with some parameters but not sure.

System details:

SAP ECC 6.0 with SPS 17, ORACLE, AIX

Better late than never...

Please download the files relevant for your Basis version on the following SAP Note:

1425765 - Generating sec_info reg_info

That will enable the "Create Reginfo" option on SMGW transaction

Recently we have upgraded to EHP7, after upgrade the option "Create Reginfo" is enabled.
