ERROR: Nothing selected

Hi all,

I'm installing a new Solution Manager 7.1 system.

The abap supportpacks were implemented by me with tx SPAM. Now I would like to implement the java stack with SUM.

Unfortunately I can't continue because SUM stops on the abap side.

ERROR: Nothing selected. No packages were selected for the installation.

How can I continue?

Do I need to adapt the .xml file?

Kind regards Marco

Hi Schepers,

What do you mean by "java stack with SUM stops on the abap side" ?

Please provide more info.

Hi Serhat,

Updating to SP12 with SUM stops because ABAP is already on the right level.

Now I started the import 'startup javaonly' this might do the trick.

Hi Schepers,

glad to see that problem's over. Could you please share full command to start SUM? So the other people can see the solution!

okay, I started SUM in a dosbox: startup javaonly

this way the update manager skips the abap part which I already did implement with SPAM.
