OPI Changing UI Layout

Hello Experts,

I would like to change the UI layout for OPI.

Like adding company name, changing color.

I have checked in XS admin and IDE but didn't find anything there.

Kindly suggest from where I can change that.

Hello Gaurav,

Where do you want to add the company name ? Color change of what in the dashboard ?

The UI of OPI dashboard is generated when you call Generate action in your Business Scenario.

Customization in terms of number tiles and text is possible, but beyond that you have to modify the generated SAPUI5 code - which will affect all the business scenario look-and-feel in that HANA server.

Thank you very much for your reply.

I would like to modify generated UI of Business Scenario.

In order to club few counts measure together and make any other size adjustments.

Reason is currently all indicator are showing separately and shown in 3 pages.

I would like modify size and rearrange, so that those can fit on single page.

Can I set different background for different business scenario?

Hello Gaurav,

OPI Dashboard is responsive UI - and the user interface of KPI tiles are designed as per the standards so that all the desired information is displayed in understandable format.

Tile rearrangement is not possible for now - and will be available in next OPI release.  For now to fit the tiles in the same page you may want to zoom-in the browser or see the page in full-screen mode.

You can customize code for background image, color etc from sap/opi/pv/workspace package.

Disclaimer: All the changes done in this package will affect other scenarios in the same server and these changes will be overridden on the next upgrade.

The feature would be available in OPI 1.0 SP06/SP10
