F.01 GL balance to be split based on Cost center

Former Member

Dear All,

I have a GL account for example FUEL Expense. I post the fuel expense for Management vehicles and transportation cars. Now Management vehicle fuel expense is after gross profit while Fuel expense for transportation service cars is before Gross profit. Now I want to split this one GL account value based on the cost centers in my Financial statements.

How do I do it? It must be possible by some means without creating multiple GL accounts or multiple FSVs.

How can I achieve this, because fuel expense for transportation service cabs is cost of service while fuel expense for office vehicles is general admin expense ?

Thanks in advance,

-Insom

Hi Satan,

You cannot get cost centre wise in F.01. Instead you can get functional area wise. If your CC has different functional area then you can get these costs separately. For this, you have to select "functional area permitted" check box for the FSV in OB58. Later you have to assign functional areas to the items.

Hello,

Very simple in SAP FI.

You need GL account for:

  • Management vehicle fuel expense
  • Fuel expense for transportation service cars

Put the accounts to subtotals for reporting purpose.

Post script: Document splitting in SAP nGL is a completely different issue.
