Hello Sukumaran,

There are certainly loads of resource which can help you to get fit for the topic.

I will point out some of them for you:

Certification Program

http://service.sap.com/certification

SAP Consultant Certification -> SAP NetWeaver -> SAP Solution Manager 4.0 - Solution Manager Implementation Tools.

This requires you to take the SMI310 as preparatory course which is the SAP Solution Manager course that goes through the intire range of implementation and configuration support provided by SAP Solution Manager.

RKT material

The ramp-up knowledge transfer material (RKT) consists of role-specific information on a variety of SAP Solution Manager topics.

http://service.sap.com/rkt-solman

Concentrate on SAP Solution Manager 4.0 release and the product offerings for the Solution consultant role. Check the must know section and for a functional insight into the project functionality I'd recommend the tutor SAP Solution Manager in an implementation project and for a methodological insight the tutors on roadmap usage.

Additional information

Can be obtained via http://service.sap.com/solutionmanager, check out the media libary and for some general questions the FAQ section.

This should help you to get started. Good look for your upcoming taks!

Best regards,

Doreen

Hi,

As a functional consultant (Not Solution Manager Consultant), this Project Management feature is all about documenting your processes.

Managing implementation phases in smooth manner.

Solution Manager Provides the consultant with preconfigured documentation, test cases as templates.

The Business Process Repository is the one that handles these.

Feel free to revert back, if you have specific questions as well.

Hello Sukumaran,

Could you shortly specify what you mean by "tast". Are you looking for information on test management?
