Linking of ship to parties with Bill to parties

Hi Friends,

We have a requirement where a customer has multiple ship to parties and corresponding to these ship to parties, they have multiple respective bill to parties. When user creates a sales order and if he enters the ship to party X then a specific bill to party only has to get determined automatically.

                                     As i know, while creating sales order, standard SAP pop-ups the screen where user can select the bill to party as per his requirement. Can system automatically selects the bill to party based on the ship to party. Can we link them somehow..? Please suggest me the solution for this either standard or development.

Hi,

in custo, while setting up partner determination for sales document header, select your partner procedure determination and click on it. Assigned partnets to your procedure will be displayed, You´ll find a column called source. For partner BP set source SH and sequence 1 so BP will be determined from SH partner.

joan has given you the solution! Functionality Source in partner procedure (which in linked to sales order - header and item levels) will fulfill your requirement, read F1 help.

In separate SH master data, XD02, you have to assign the respective BP.

Note: For different BP at item level relevant partner determination configuration needs to be setup (probably it is already available). Different BP will cause splitting of invoices.
