Hi,

I just finished installing SAP Ehp6 ECC 6.0 IDES on Windows Server 2012 and the DB is SQL Server 2012 Sp1 cu7 (please refer to the below screenshots)

Problem is that the kernel is saying it is not compatible when i tried to check SICK

So I decided to upgrade to 7.41 DCK , but confused on how to do that as should I extract everything from which folder?

Have you checked the PAM for the supported kernel for an EHP6 system?

According to PAM you need to use an EXT version of the kernel.

https://service.sap.com/sap/support/pam?hash=s%3D%26filter%3D%26o%3Dmost_viewed%257Cdesc%26st%3Dl%26...

You cannot use kernel release 7.40 or 7.41.

Read these SAP notes

1969546 - Release Roadmap Kernel 740

1994690 - Using the 7.41 kernel instead of 7.40

Yes, you are right Benjamin. I am using 7.21 Ext which is working now perfectly.

Thanks Deva, but just want to point out that.. I was unable to find out the one specific for me. If you could kindly tell me can I use the Kernel741 DC in  my case?
