Use gen_row_num() function for this. This is a built in fuctions of designer. Jst use this in any Query transform and get the row number generated automatically.

There are gen_row_num() and gen_row_num_by_group() functions that can be used to automatically generate row numbers from a query transform.
If you are using a roe_generation transform, you can specifiy the number of rows you need and the DI_ROW_ID column will have an auto-generated row number as per the settings specified.
