Variable text change in Webi Prompts

Hi Experts,

I am working in BO webi and IDT in BI Platform 4.1 SP4
.

Hana view has variables for Year and Month. I have created universe(unx) on top of this Hana view and published to Repository.

Now, I am using this universe in webi report. All are works fine. I am able to input the Year and Month variable created in Hana view.

Now, the text for variable is showing table name as well. Example "Year(xxx/xxx/xxx)".

I do not want to show table path in variable. I want to show only "Year".

Please help me to change Hana view variable text in Hana view or IDT or webi.

Hi Chong Wang,

We donot have this feature as of now i.e change variable text in IDT.

Need to ask Hana consultant to change varaible text.

Hi Dharani Kumar,

In HANA, we can modify the variable's label to some easy-understood words so it's friendly for users.

But it will still contain the path name of the variable ,  as below:

the structure is PACKAGE NAME/VIEW NAME/VARIABLE NAME.

Do you know how to remove it in HANA studio or IDT?
