Can not close SVO

HI

SVO need be closed but there is alwasy error message "Sales Order and Service Order have different WBS. Please, change the Functional Location to be: C-XXXX-XX-XX' Message no. Z9001.After checking, the wbs used in related SO XXXXXX and SVO XXXXX is the same one "C-XXXX-XX-XXP. BTW, the SVO status can not updated to "TECO" and CLSD if ignoring the error message but such status change can not be saved due to error message, meaning we can only exit SVO w/o saving status changes.

what will be the reason behind this.

Hello Kiran,

The error message number Z9001 suggest that it is custom message.

Please check with your technical team there must be some enhancement which avoid close SVO if Sales Order and Service Order have different WBS.

Here are the steps to close SvO

Testing done already in Quality for solution above and the SVO can be closed successfully.

1. 1. Use transaction code IL02, enter functinoal location C-5XXX-XX-XX-XXXX, press enter
2. 2. Go to Organization tab, change the wbs element from C-5XXX-XX-XX to C-5XXX-XX-XX-XXXX then save the change
3. 3. Close SVO 8XXXXXX as usual.
