Dear All,

We are facing issue in our solution manager ,recently we have configured system monitoring in our solman system ,we are getting below issue in sm21

Operating system call connect failed (error no. 10060)

Because of this every 1 or 2 min one   email is generating

Alert Description

A high number of system log messages has been detected on ABAP instance . You should check the system log of this instance or the whole system.

I have gone through the several sap notes but no luck ,can you please guide me and suggest how to resolve the issue why this issue is coming .

Please advise.

Dear SAP Basis,

please check corresponding traces in ST11 (dev_w*, dev_rd) for more information, if you see which component creates these messages in the syslog (RFC destination? program?) and if the messages are created for a certain ip address. In the syslog you should see also the user and you can check entries in STAD for this user, if you can find out which application creates it.

Hi,

Check gateway logs dev_rd for more details on error message

Try pinging the servers between each other, check if the hostfiles are maintained properly

Hi ,

You may use NIPING to trace any network issues . Refer SAP note 500235.
