Trying to use a library function from a .net 4.0 class library, COM enabled and registered in the GAC (4.0 GAC), in a CR Report (CR 2011) and the formula builder doesn't see my library in the GAC. Does CR 2011 not see the 4.0 GAC?
Regards.
Hi.
Try searching for the sample UFL in our KBA system. It works and has instructions on how to create and install/register the ufl so CR can find it.
1266912 - How to deploy Crystal Reports UFL created in Visual Studio .NET
It is listed under Additional Functions.
Also, since you created the UFL against 4.0 framework you need to tell CR Designer to start up using the same.
1603381 - How to create a C++ UFL using the new Unicode UFL interface in Crystal Reports 2008 & later

Using CR 2013 my 4.0 .NET UFL functions are recognized, so you should be able to get your UFL recognized by CR 2011.
