Cross company PO Return - Delivery Complete indicator

Dear experts,

We are using a two-steps replenishment process between plants of different company codes. Plant A normally supplies plant B.

When B needs to return goods to A, we proceed as follows:

B creates with ME21N a replenishment order, NB, and flags the item as "Return".

A creates the delivery document with VL10B.

B posts the "goods issue", movement type 161.

A posts the "goods receipt" with VL02N, movement type 673.

The issue we have is that the purchase order item is not flagged as "delivery completed" (EKPO-ELIKZ) automatically after the goods issue or the goods receipt in plant A..

In the customizing point "OMCD - Set "Delivery Completed" Indicator" the flag is active for both plants.

Any idea of what might be missing?

Kindly refer the following notes 34737, 1093582 & 196280 and also try the below BADI with PO tolerance.

Thanks for you answer!

Note 34737 explains that this flag is not supposed to be relevant for transport orders.

Note 1093582, I cannot read it, it says it's not released.

Note 196280 is not for Cross Company. But contradicts the previous note 34737.

Hello ,

Today I was able to read the SAP note you mentioned 1093582 and I don't see any reference to cross-company returns.

And I would like to avoid doing any code enhancement for this scneario.

Hello Karna J,

The note 1140861 belongs to component "SRM-EBP-CGS Confirmation Goods/Services" which is not in my system. And doesn't make any mention to the return process.

Dear Fortain,

As suggested in the note 1093582 - FAQ: Delivery complete indicator ELIKZ  (Point number 5) is the only solution, if interested kindly refer the following note 167795 modification.

Oss note 1784316 - VL02N: Inward del. completed ind. for stock transport order fixes a bug with the delivery complete indicator in stock transfers. even it talks about 1step stock transfers, I would implement it and check if the current issue vanishes too.

In my scenario the "Delivery complete" indicator is never flagged...and I'm not getting the mentioned message.
