ESS/MSS Licences in NWBC

Hi all,

Our system is in EHP7.

For using ESS & MSS in NWBC, do we require any SAP Licences..??

User Licences are there. Apart from that ESS/MSS Licences are required..??

In ESS MSS without portal on NWBC Here,  Siddharth Rajora said that we don't require any licences if we are going with NWBC other than portal.

Please clarify.

yes I agree with stuart above, in response to your reply yes there is no additional charge if you use NWBC as opposed to Portal. You still need user licenses but not portal http://scn.sap.com/thread/3289586

Just for confirmation I am asking, correct me if I am wrong.

"If we use ESS/MSS functionalities with NWBC, there is no extra charges and no licencing cost for ESS/MSS" and "If we use ESS/MSS with EP, there is some licencing charges for using ESS/MSS functionalities".

PS : I am clear with the licencing for number of users is su01.

Hi Namsheed

The official channel to answer all license enquiries is the SAP contracts department which is usually located within your local SAP sales office

What you require depends on the license you have and full details of the SAP functionality you wish to use
