Issue with Service Order.....

Dear Experts,

                    I have a doubt regarding Service order,

The material was delivered to the customer before SAP Implementation.

In SAP FG code was created to that material 

Now the customer wants to service for that material.

Now I want to create a service order, I am unable to take FG code as Service Material Whats will be the Procedure.

As already pointed out, service order should be order related billing and you can very well do this in SAP.  If you want to create delivery also for this, you can play with item category by changing it to TAX or TAW manually in sale order.

Hi,

You cannot use the FG material as service material.

You cannot use the same FG material code as service material code.

Create new service material with appropriate material type along with appropriate sales organisation/distribution channel and plant.

Maintain the relevant conditions for the service material.

Create sale order and billing.

For service order you will be just creating a sales order and do the billing without delivery

The settings will be order relevant billing

What is the issue you are facing?

Just create the service order for the material code that you have created.

Here , you dont have your original sales order for that material in SAP. so do this.
