Unable to reply on SCN from iPad

I am able to login, to read messages, to create new discussions but not able to reply on the existing posts. When I press on "Reply" - simply nothing happens

Additional minor bug - I am unable to see my points (right after Log Out).

iPad Air, iOS 8.1.2 (latest at the moment). Web browser - standard Safari. JavaScript - enabled, Popup block - disabled.

I suspect iOS update...

I'm afraid that the regular SCN site just isn't compatible with iOS8.x.

You should consider using the mobile browser friendly version of SCN: see http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-42262

I'm using it to reply to this post.

Hi Jason,

"I'm afraid that the regular SCN site just isn't compatible with iOS8.x" - no comments

Tested:

"go to http://sap-scn.jive-mobile.com"

Result:

Very limited jive mobile interface... "I'm using it to reply to this post." - do you like it?

I use it on my iPhone daily. It's not the full experience but it's got enough to get things done and the search is pretty good, actually.

Do you know any way to "bookmark" the community I am tracking? Looks like with jive I have to always go to communications, open some discussion I have answered, then tap on the community name...

No, does not seem possible.  However, the spaces and content and people you are following will appear in the followed tab (followed activities).

Not a perfect solution With communications it's better - 3 clicks and I can see a single community...

Let's see what is possible here. If this only broke in a recent version, we should be able to fix it. Give us some time to look into it. There won't be a short term answer / solution in the next couple of days though.

Hi Oliver,

It happened in December with the regular iOS update 8.1.2. Before this update it was possible to use Safari browser with the normal SDN site.

Understood. We'll look into it next week, when our new sprint starts.

I think there is a way.

You can go to home (sap-scn.jive-mobile.com/#jive-home) and then tap on community name.

Or bookmark the URL of community.

Below URL with https.

sap-scn.jive-mobile.com/#jive-place-content?content=%2Fapi%2Fcore%2Fv2%2Fspaces%2F2246

goes to About SCN space.

For other communities, the space id will be different.

Did it start working after updating to the latest iOS version? (8.1.3?)
