Account Disabled / Password Expiration Notification

Hi,

We have the following parameters set in CMC > Authentication > Enterprise

Must change password every N day(s): 90

Disable account after N failed attempts to log on: 3

The problem is Users that have not had their passwords changed in the past 90 days are having their accounts disabled.

This is ultimately what we want, except that somehow there is a flaw, as it appears that users are not prompted to change their passwords when it expires.

Also, it'd be great to have the ability to Email Users a Password Expiration Notification.

Any thoughts?

We are on BOE XI 3.1 SP7, Tomcat 7 bundled. Only Enterprise Users.

looks like the same BUG as per SAP note:- 1664162 probably a regression in SP7.

Notification can only be possible with some SDK not sure how it will work.
