De-activating a solution in Cloud Application Studio

Hi all,

I want to de-activate the solution for a time-being. Is it possible in CAS? If so please give your inputs.

Hi Swadini,

You can disable the solution from the Cloud Application Studio.

1) Logon into the cloud tenant from SAP Cloud App Studio.

2) Open the Custom Solution.

3) Go to Menu : Administration - > Implementation Manager.

4) Now there is a button called "Disable"( If your solution is enable) or "Enable" (if your solution is disable as shown below.

Hi Swadini,

Can you please explain what exactly you need?

To make custom solution visible on cloud system below are the steps :

1) Logon into the SAP Cloud tenant from Cloud App Studio.

2) Create "Customer Specific solution".

3) Create Business object and define your element into it and Save and Activate it.

4) Create Screen "Object Based" or "Thing Based" and Design screen as per your requirement and Save and Activate it.

5) After come to "Solution Explorer" and choose solution and right click on it and Activate all objects.

6) Now logon into the SAP cloud tenant and go to business user work-center view you can able to see your custom solution into it.

7) Just check the checkbox and save and close it.

😎 Logon cloud system using business user username and check the custom solution available into work center list.

My requirement is to add a custom facet to the Opportunity screen. I did the below steps.

1. Created a new solution in CAS

2. In that I have created new folder and Business object extension (.xbo) for Opportunity

3. Then created an Embedded component, did necessary data bindings

4. I have enhanced the .xbo screens and activated my solution successfully.

5. I have also disabled all the other solutions I have created and enabled this alone.

Now When I logon to the cloud tenant I am not able to find the workcenter for my solution.

Pls guide me. Thanks in advance.

Thank you!!! Yes I disabled my other solutions and tried. Still I couldn't see my solution in Workcenter and view assignment to my user. But when I checked with Opportunity it is assigned

Then as per my requirement I added new facet to my Opportunity by following the instruction in this video --->   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYfkQW564l0

Same things done but unable to get the standard values on initialize.

Hi Swadini,

As per your screen as below you are trying to enhance the standard BO Opportunity so this is not custom solution and that's why its not display under the ACCESS RIGHTS work-center view..

Can you please explain "Unable to get standard value at initialize"?

Are you trying to make new tab under opportunity?

Yes.

I have added new tab in Opportunity. I am trying to get the Opportunity ID/Desc and Product ID for the selected opportunity.
