Afaria DB migration

Hi,

We have planned to migrate Afaria DB from SQL Anywhere to MS SQL(Clustered).

Please let us know any document related to this.

also need few info like:

What is the impact on doing migration of SQL Anywhere to MS SQL (Clustered) -Do we need to Reinstall Afaria Server ? Does already enrolled users needs to re-enroll device ?

There is no official documentation on migration between these two platforms here in support.  As for the server reinstall it depends a bit on how you are migrating.  I generally recommend that you do reinstall over the top although there are SCN articles on how to repoint the Afaria server to a new dB that do work.  Just be sure to also repoint the API registry key as well.

If you maintain data in the data base end users will not need to reinstall as their information is all already present

I am going thru the scripts, Instead of running the scripts
is it possible to use any tool to migrate this. Is it advisable to migrate using

Afaria Support does not have any tool to migrate between dB platforms.  I can't advise one way or another on the use of such a tool.  When customers end up migrating, every case I have seen has involved an SAP consultant who customizes the solution for the customer's needs.
