Item To Cproject Object Link

Hello Friends,

                   When searching in here we found out the basic object link for costing rollup is 0RPMFIPROJECT. When we manually create object links between item and cproject it is working fine.But, we want to automatically create object link between Item and Cproject when we create item from project using Create Project on Saving.Is our understanding is proper? Or is there any other configuration is to be done for creating the Automatic Object link between item and Cproject ?

Hello Alex,

The ORPMFIPROJECT link is not the link between the Item and cProject. The ORPMFIPROJECT is the link between the Item and PS project

The object link between Item and cProject is OINMCPROJECT

You can see all links in the RPM_OBJ_LINK table (Where the GUID of the Item from /rpm/item_d = the Project_GUID in the RPM_OBJ_LINK table)

To automatically create a link between the Item and cProject, you need to ensure that:

1. The Item type configuration for "Link to Project system" is set to "Portfolio and Project Management" and that the "NoAutoPro" indicator is not set

2. You have created a cProject template and mapped this to Item template (or type) correctly

3. Your object links are correctly updated with relevant log system, destination, web server where applicable (sounds like you have done this already)

Hi Chatsworth,

      Thanks for the reply.Configuration are there as described which creates entry of Related Objects automatically which can be seen below.

But, we want such relationship of Item to PS Object Link which can be manually assigned in below screen.

We have kept creation of PS project on Status change of Cproject so at that time above event should happen.
