Need to do SAP HANA

Hi All,

Currenly am working on SAP BI and am planning to go for Hana.

Can any one please suggest whether I will go for BW Hana or SAP BO.

If I will go for HANA then what is the advantage.

Hi Former Member,

Learning HANA modelling would be extremely good for your career.

You can think about HANA Live, Native HANA or BW on HANA..

BW on HANA would be extremely challenging if you are new to BW..

SAP BO is an  additional learning that you can always think about...especially have an understanding on how the HANA models can be brought into different BO tools....

Hi Subhendu,

LO Extraction will work same with BW on HANA also

Running BW on HANA just changes Database from traditional databases like Oracle, DB2 to HANA

And you get HANA Optimized Objects and additional functionalities with HANA.

Extraction from ECC to BW remains the same.

Can you please explain how LO extraction will work in HANA . Is it same like BI or some other procerdure to do.
