How to print a PO

When I am trying to print a PO..I go to me23n and display the PO and click on print preview its showing me the preview but the print icon is greyed out. How can I print a PO?

But for some PO it is not gray out & its working fine.

(Note:-The doc type, Company code & purchasing organization is same for all PO's)

Is there any setting in SAP to remove the gray out from the Print icon?

Hi Himanshu,

Check what is the difference between the POs. Check whether they are released.

Still if the issue is not resolved,consult this note for the issue.

May be you have not configured a local printer in SAP?

Hello Himanshu,

Please check whether you had completed output/message determination and NACE.

Also check whether message conditions record maintain for that Vendor/Doc type/organization combination for "1. Print Output" option.

Hi Ashish,

Output determination is already config & done. Don't know for some PO it is print icon is gray out & for some PO 's not gray out.

Even though the doc type, Company code & purchasing organization is same for all PO's

What about Purchase Group, is it same for all POs?

If not please also cross check whether all Purchase Group assigned to printer in step - "Assign Output Devices to Purchasing Groups" under SPRO-->MM-->Purchasing--> Messages

Hi,

In the print preview screen go to the top menu and take the MENU ----TEXT and here you can find the print and once you press the same a spool will be created normally .

However , that would be beter always to open the the PO ME22N and go to messages and use the repeat the output and use the option print immediately and and provide the printer and other details and save the PO so that you can get the print safely .
