Transport UI5 app

Hi experts,

I am trying to upload my customized UI5 app to anther NW in a Transport Request. Below is what I did, as I am new to this topic, I guess something is missing:

1: Go to /nSE01, create a Workbench Request

2: In /nSE38 -> /ui5/ui5_repository_load -> upload.

Here I input Description, Transport Request. I left Package empty.

3: Click OK.

After the upload, I can see my UI5 app deployed under ui5_ui5 node. But in /nSE01, I could not see any Objects under the Workbench Request. Furthermore, in /nSE80, the BSP page shows under [Local Objects].

I guess maybe I should create a package to transport, am I right? If so, how should I move on?

Yes, without a package you cannot transport a BSP Application. (same applies to any other repository object as well). When you assign a package, (other than local package), transport request is mandatory and object gets linked to the transport.

I created a package and the issue is resolved. Maybe I should try before ask in future.
