Is it possible to automatically pick a ship-to party based on what material entered?

Dear experts,

I wonder if it is possible for a ship-to party gets automatically selected based on what materials entered in line item when creating sales orders.

The reason is that the sold-to party have many shipto parties, and certain material ( clients always enter one material in a sales order) is almost always shipped to one particular shipto party

To save the hassle of picking a shipto party from a long list, is it possible to have shipto party auto selected??

As already pointed out, it is not possible to propose SH based on the material automatically.

If you want this functionality, you should only do it through an user exit. The one already specified can be useful

no, it´s not possible.  Even if you tried a userexit (thinking on MV45AFZZ userexit_save_document_prepare) you should redeterime plant and Price conditions afterwards...

Instead, why don´t you try material listing/exclusión? You can add to sold-to a ship-to (see note 863767, point 9) so you can allow or restrict materials by sold-to and ship-to in sales order.
