SU01 / SU10 role assignment not getting recorded in SECATT

Hi,

We are using BW 7.4 system. I am trying to create a SECATT script for mass user-role assignment.I can create the script but when I maintain the parameters, I don't see any parameter for role assignment. When I checked the simulation, found that role assignment is not recorded.

I found some information on internet that SAP has removed this option now. Do any one has any alternative or can suggest how this issue can be resolved?

Hi,

this issue appears here every month. SAP re-wrote SU01 transaction. SECATT does not work anymore for role assignment, There is an OSS note about this issue from SAP. The solution is to use something else. SU10 could be an option or custom program that uses standard BAPIs to assign roles.

SECATT and BDC for SU01 is long dead. Never worked reliably anyway.
