Portal 7.3 SP upgrade with Business package update

Hello Experts

We have SRM 7.01 , MDM 7.1 , PI 7.1 & Portal 7.3 systems.  We are configuring end to end procurement.  We just now upgraded our SRM system from SRM 7.0 EHP1 to EHP3. We also created maintenance transaction for our portal system SP upgrade. We were able to see that it has selected BP for SRM & MDM.  When we tried portal SP update through SUM it only upgraded portal component not BP of SRM & MDM. After that we tried to again to do BP update with SUM but it is not detecting BP. We tried to do with JSPM but now for it is saying JSPM not supported for this release. We also tried to update with telnet but it is not detecting BP.

At last we have undeployed all BP with NWDI and deployed newer BP with NWDI.

We are looking for upgrade of our portal and BP in one run. Can someone please help?

Dear Atul,

Check in LMDB  whether product instance is assigned or not  fro BP'S and also check the Landscape verification check results . it will suggest to assign missing product instances .

For BP contents and for Ess/MSS, SRM or any content you need to activate the Usage Types

And also try to Import latest available CIM&CR Content in Solman SLD

Check your Product Version specific Master guide for both Portal and back end systems and also check in latest MOPZ guide for special installation cases in Upgrade for stack generation.
