PI archiving files without processing

Hi Experts,

Urgent help needed.

We are facing this below problem for two of our interfaces using sender SFTP channels.

Both the channels are using different FTP servers for picking the files.

There have been three files placed in the FTP server out of which only the first and third files were picked by PI and messages processed. But
the second file was not picked up rather it was archived in the archive folder. All happened in a single channel poll interval of 180 seconds.

The same happened to the other interface also: Eight files were placed out of which only one processed and seven were archived all in a single poll.

We tested the same files in our PI Development landscapes and there were no issues.

We thought “skip Empty Files” might work if the source files are empty when PI polls. But this did not solve the issue. The same problem happened
again.

But yesterday three files were placed and all processed successfully and archived. But not sure if issue will occur again.

Our client is very keen on getting the root cause of this issue so that it will not happen in future.

We have no idea of what went wrong in PI or is the issue not really with PI.

Can someone please help out.

try increasing the interval(mSec) for modification check and see if it helps..

Did you check the Channel monitoring logs during the time frame? also check the Message monitoring to see if the messages are in holding/to be delivered status!!
