Change Date in Activity

Hello experts,

is it possible to change the dates in the activitys without using the duration for this?

I want to change the dates in CJ21 but you can only change the duration there.

Hi Pascal,

You can use CJ20N and change the dates using constrains like Must Start on etc.

You can change the WBS element dates in CJ20N, which will update other activities. So you cannot  change the dates in activities without imposing constrains.

Hi,

No, not possible as SAP standard system is designed like this you have make changes in duration for updating Activity dates. Actually as I think, Normally if some project member wana update dates then most probable condition to count no of days or months or year. Thus system is designed because activities dates are normally updated according to HRs/Days/Months from its earliest start dates.
