Can we use any item category for Cross selling for inputting item in sales order?

Dear all,

we have tried to use Cross selling function in creation sales order in VA01.

so we finished all IMG setting needs but some material doesn't work Croess selling funtion.

for example) following item(parts) works Cross Selling function.

                   

                     but other item(machine) doesn't work.

is there any difference? we should check sales item category or material item categor?

Hi,

As per note 869601 ,Cross Selling cannot take place for the below:

- Subitems (VBAP-UEPOS)

- Bill of Material (TVAP-STRUM)

- Product selection (VBAP-PROSA)

- Configuration (VBAP-CUOBJ)

- Generic article (VBAPD-ATTYP)

- Scheduling agreement (VBAP-KZFME)

- Free goods (VBAPD-NATRAB)

- Item proposal (VBAPD-PVPOS)

- Items without schedule lines (TVAP-ETERL)

Any chance you have maintained the master data for the cross selling for the said material in VB41?

we didn't change any material master of Machine item or parts for cross selling function.
