Dear All

As per my understanding we have different types of change Request like Normal change , urgent change Administrative change Request

urgent change Request workflow flow

Change Manager identifies which of Request (Normal or urgent )-> Development -> Batch Jobs (Release and import)-> Pass to test -> confirm-> changer

Manager -> Approve -> IT Operator will import change to production  -> confirm to change manager.

only Production Release IT operator will be imported

Normal Change Request work flow

Change Manager identifies which of Request (Normal or urgent )-> Development(Release)-> It Operator will import in test -> Pass to test (test and release )->

confirm-> changer Manager -> Approve -> IT Operator will import change to production -> confirm to change manager.

For Every Release It Operator will be Imported

1) How change manager will identify which type of request (depending on what basis)

how system knows types of change Request ? (normal / urgent)

2) I am not able to understand in change management ->two diff options

   Request for change

   change document

when we create an Request few Requests are coming in request for change and change document

can u please tel me whats the difference

Hi,

You can differentiate between Normal and Urgent changes by looking at the CD number

Normal change change documents start with 4 and urgent change CD starts with 5

We have a release manager role in Normal change where they will import the TR from task list

In Urgent changes TR is  automatically imported based on the status of CD

RFC(request for change) is the main change request and once we have different CDs based on the usage(standard/off release.Admin etc)
