Dear Gurus,
We have a Sybase IQ 16.0 installed on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. There is no any sap abap or java installed on this machine.
We should take warning if SYBASE IQ is down via ccms on solman(by email) There is only SAP Data Services(BO) installed. Is it possible to do this configuration ?
Is there any way to do it ?
Best Regards
Hi
why you use ccms, we have now SMD based Technical monitoring, you have MAI metrics available for Sybase SE too.
Please check this Sybase ASE monitoring
Thanks
Jansi

Hi Kemal
I haven't seen Sybase IQ specific templates in Technical Monitoring (SP12) so far.
If the DB isn't recognized and a template is not available, you would have to create custom metrics.
You can have a look at the how to guides how you can do this:
System Monitoring - How-to Guides - Technical Operations - SCN Wiki
Best regards
Tom
