Hi Consultans,
I want to know what is the use of these 3 fields in item category.
1. Statistical value
2. Revenue Recognition
3. Delimit. Start Date
I have searched alot on net, unable to get proper use of these fields.
So request you to help me on this.
Thanks & Regards
Ritesh Srivastava
Regarding statistics value my comment is below.
See the standard behaviour of the Header and item price is - whtever price u will enter at item level it will go to heder, and whatever you will enter at heder level it will come to item level.
Here Item category statistics control says 3 things:
X - No cumulation - Values cannot be used statistically (X)
Business dont want to pass item value to header condition and at item level value should be stay as Non-Statistics (Means Active price at item level only) OR (Item wise price)
Y - No cumulation - Values can be used statistically (Y)
Business dont want to pass item value to header condition and at item level value should be stay as Statistics. (Means In-active price at item level)
Regarding Revenue Recognisation.
I didn't work for this control but the following information I have for you.
The revenue recognition functions have a large impact on how revenues are accrued and posted.
To know about the revenue recognisation please read SAP Note 820417.
Path where you can activate this control:
Sales and Distribution - Basic Functions - Account Assignment/Costing - Activate SD Functions
Note: Dont use revenue recognisation function without having proper information.
Once you activated and did other requied configuration and remove again this activation indicator, you can no longer change the Customizing settings.
Regarding Delimit. Start Date No information I have.. Sorry.
