SAP NOTES 2028082 - Missing Japanese translations

SAP NOTES 2028082 says below

Symptom

No Japanese translations in SP12.

Reason and Prerequisites

Japanease translations are missing from SP12, Italian translations were mistakenly inserted instead.

When we logged in to SP12 MDM by selecting japan as language we could see japanese translations in MDM data.

Please explain the issue and steps to find the issue in MDM.

Hello!

This issue was solved on MDM 7.1 SP12 Patch 4 onwards.

You probably have a newer MDM version than that.

We are using MDM 7.1.12.127.

Hope there is no issue in this.

Also please confirm if  the issue is japanese translations are missed and appeared as Italian.

We are planning to migrate from 7.1 SP04 to SP12 and we have japanese Translations in MDM data .

Hope no issues with above migration.

Hello!

7.1.12.127 is 7.1 SP12 Patch 04, therefore your version already contains the fix.

Just make sure all MDM components and clients are on this version, or higher and you are OK.
