How can I download forecast data?

I am relatively new to SAP and I am trying to figure out an easier way to download the forecast requirements (generated elsewhere by other users) for a few hundred part numbers for the next 18 months.  Currently, I go into MD62 and copy 30 materials at a time into my list and then copy as many columns as possible from SAP and paste into Excel.  This is VERY time consuming and I'm sure there is a better way, I just don't know it.

Ultimately I want a forecast by period something roughly along these lines:

MaterialJan-15Feb-15Mar-15Apr-15May-15Jun-15Jul-15

Thank you.

Hi Chris,

You can download your Planned Independent Requirements using MD79. This transaction can be execued by plant and will export an excel with all the PIRs by material in lines and periods in columns.

Kind Regards,

Mariano

Thank You Mariano, that is exactly what I am looking for, but I have hundreds of materials to check (on a monthly update schedule).  Is there a way to load all of them at once?

Nevermind, I re-read your answer and ran it by plant!  That worked perfectly.  Thank you very much.
