SAP PBF implementation

Hi All,

We already have SAP ECC - funds mgt and HR implemented in our landscape.

We are planning to go for PBF implementation. I have checked in forums and understand that PBF can be in a BW system and it gets data from BW Myself extraction method. Been able to install, config namespace and DS for PBF in the BW system.

Please advise, the steps/config to be made or taken up to make sure we set up the connectivity from BW to /PBF data sources to get data.

Hi Sunil,

PBF is one of the integrated solutions provided by SAP with BW package.

Please download component installation guide (either 8.0 or 8.1), and follow the exact steps to configure PBF in BW system.

PBF datasources are not different than standard datasources of BW, before that get in touch with your basis team to setup RFC connection between ECC and BW system.
