PO Creation From SO, Third Party

Hi All,

We have a process where a PO is directly created from SO from the schedule line (third party config).

Now for one material (Lets say material A) the PO is perfectly triggered, But for another (material B), PO is not triggered.

In SO, Item cat and Schedule line cat is same for both the orders.

Both material is having same material type, MRP 2 -->procurement is F (external).

Where else should I check?

Regards,

Supratik

Hi All,

Thanks a lot for replying.

we have found the solution for this issue. The PR was automatically triggered for sch. line, but the PO was not getting triggered due to GTS block.

Clearing the GTS block will enable PO auto trigger.

This is logged under sales order status overview.

Thanks a ton for helping.

Supratik

Check the below settings .

Hi Reddy,

Schedule line is determined based on

Item category + MRP type.

there fore did you compare the both the materials MRP data?

I strongly feel when one material is creating PO which is maintained in Schedule line why cant the other.

I suggest check both the MRP data.

There are occasions when some clients do maintain ME01 and ME11 as well, check them if it is relevant to you.

Thanks,
Sridhar.

Hello Supratik,

Check the below points,

1. check whether delivery block is there for material B?

2. Check whether Purchase Info record is exist for material B or not?

3. check any deletion indicator is set for material B??

Thanks
