SAP FIORI INSTALLATION

Hi experts,

After going throught a lots of documents regarding sap fiori installtion i got some confusion.

I have installed SAP NW 7.4 in which i got UI add-on and SAP GW_FND already installeD.

My question is

1) which more add-on is needed to be install on SAP NW 7.4 GATEWAY SERVER (FRONT-END SERVER)

2) which add-on i need to install on ECC SERVER (BACKEND SERVER)

To setup the system for Fiori Apps implementation of Transactional applications , the Gateway is to be setup first.Since the Front End i.e. the gateway system is already on 7.4 , make sure all the relevant components are on the latest with patches applied.

1)IW_BEP is to be installed in Backend system to enable the communication of business process with front end system.(setup an RFC connection of type 3 between the front end and back end system )

2) IW_PGW is to be installed on front end system for Workflow apps

Other Components like IW_HDB , IW_SPI , ...are optional .(Check this document for gateway specific components)

Once the gateway is setup, install the Fiori App specific components from the application specific  implementation guides / referring here .

Hi Ramesh,

As foundation, on Gateway you need SAP_GWFND and SAP_UI with latest SPs. In addition, you will need UI add-on and it depends on what type of application you select. On the backend, you need corresponding OData add-on of the application.

Thanks for reply.

As you said i need to install UI add-on application specific, so that add-on i need to install on gateway server(front end) or backend server(ECC ERP)?
