Error in EWM QM Process

Hi Everyone,

                  In EWM QM process with storage control , when i am trying to decide the rejected quantity to scrapping , it shows an error.

Help me in solving this issue.

Hi,

please check the following path in the EWM IMG (customizing):

Extended Warehouse Management --> Internal Warehouse Processes --> Default Values for Posting Changes.

There is a mismatch if you use the standard settings given with the BC Set.

In your follow-up action you probably have the warehouse process type 4020, with that the system tries to post the stock to "scrap". The entry in the path given above, has the default target value S6 as stock type for this WPT.

Now if you use the default scenario with an ROD and an AFS storage location, the stock type S6 means the material is in a final bin, belongs to the AFS storage location and should go to blocked stock.

But in the inbound process the material still belongs to the ROD storage location, then the stock type should be S5.

Two solutions:

- just delete this entry (that is the quick solution for your problem right now)

- copy the WPT 4020 into a new one (4021), enter this as WPT for your follow up action D (that is the better, long term solution)
