performance tuning

Hi guys,

system environment is eph6 for sap erp6.0  sybase database and suse linux OS we have 20 active users in ecc system when users are running

reports taking lot of time even for small reports so what are the parameters need to be tuned what should be the action for improving performance any threads or solution guys we have 29 wps 9 dialog 8 background 8 spool and remaining are updates and enqueue...any valuable suggestion please am facing this problem for the past one month...

Check the below parameters:

max memory

procedure cache size

statement cache size

number of locks

lock hashtable size

default data cache

pool for 16k vs 128k of default data cache
